No I in Thee, Minisrty. is a faith that is centered around the belief in one God, who came in the form of man. Jesus was sacrificed to make us, then sent his Holy Spirit to live in us. We believe that through prayer, meditation, and education of his word, we can connect with God and find purpose in our lives.
At No I in Thee, Minisrty., we believe sin greives the Holy Spirit denying the perfect union our Father intended for mankind.
Jesus came as a mentor and a perfect sacrifice to bring us back to the Father and save us from our sin. We are not to judge anyone but ourself.
Matthew 7:1 Below is some of the sin we can work on to make our world a better place.
As believers, we are called to serve others and make a positive impact in the world. At No I in Thee, Minisrty., we are committed to outreach and service projects, both locally and globally. We believe in helping all of his people. We continually spred his word, feed the poor and help God's childred to further his kingdom.
Gossip is toxic and it's everywhere! It's also a sin and God hates it.
Gossip hurts all who hear even those who have no interest in the direct subject.
Consider this:
Gertrude starts to say " have you heard about Billy?" Billy isn't in the room but Betty is Billy's friend. She hears disparaging remarks from Gertrude about Billy and immediately thinks to herself, I wonder what Gertrude says about me when I'm not here? Billy walks in the room and the conversation stops. Gertrude says 'Hi Billy" Now Betty thinks Gertrude is also two faced. She doesn't trust Gertrude. Later Billy and Betty have a disagreement and Betty attacks with the same disparaging remarks conveyed by Gertrude to gain favorable position in the arguement. All the parties involved are harmed.
The way to stop this is if someone starts talking about someone that is not in the room or present is to call it out directly. "Since Billy isn't here, lets talk about something else." If you want to talk about something that's great but if you want to talk about someone they should be in the room.
Being proud of a personal accomplishment is good in moderation as long as it doesn't hurt others. If you feel the need to go on social media or tell a neighbor boasting about yourself or a situation that would demean , aggitate or harm someone you are greiving the Holy Spirit.
We are to put others above ourself.
3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit [through factional motives, or strife], but with [an attitude of] humility [being neither arrogant nor self-righteous], regard others as more important than yourselves.
Falling into this trap is easy, we do it everyday on our roads by not putting others first. Next time you come to a four way stop or someone cuts you off, imagine it's Jesus himself driving the other car. I think our reactions might be a little different.
Our Lord and Savior is Omnipotent (Almighty) He see's everything and knows everything. Our Pride hurts us and greives the Holy Spirit.
Wrath is and anger
